Alan Harrington
Alan started throwing pots in high school and obtained a bachelor’s in fine arts; but went into commercial art for his career. Now that he is retired, Alan has been able to return to his true passion: ceramics. He has served on the Iowa Ceramic Center and Glass Studio Board for the past 9 years and has enjoyed his frequent visits there to create his own one-of-a-kind pieces. A special joy for Alan has been sharing his passion with all three of his children, each of whom are wonderful potters!
